There we go! I was hoping that would happen. Would like to see Oak send a P2.

After the way they were treated at Sebring it's very unlikely that we'll see them back in IMSA sanctioned racing any time soon. https://www.dailysportscar.com/?p=3897 about halfway down the page.

I think that to not be the case. Buckler has put his eggs in the AMR basket, I do not see TRG/AMR foregoing any more rounds than necessary.

They stated that they want to be at Daytona, preferably with two cars.
It's the same people running Petit LeMans, so I don't think it would be any different.

"The No. 98 car will become the No. 99, which we are leaving in the U.S. for the [USCC] tests at Sebring and Daytona in November," AMR team principal John Gaw explained. "We'd like to run two cars at Daytona, but we will definitely be there with one. The U.S. is the second-biggest market for Aston and it is a great event."

They wont be allowed unless they commit full season. Unless uscc heads have a change of heart.

Some potentially huge factory entries could be turned away at the door. Not what I want to see. The USCC has to be careful when it cones to backing full-season entrants who bring two cars to Daytona but then just drop down to one for the rest of the year.

Hopefully Muscle Milk and Rebellion can have a race-long battle this year! Has Muscle Milk indicated who their third driver will be yet?

That though has not really been much of an issue in GA or ALMS in recent years. It’s a bit off topic in this thread, but I’ll post a breakdown in the 2014 USCC thread later today or tomorrow.

I believe that each car has to be entered as a full season entrant for that. Each car must be entered separately, at the top of the form.

The 32 cars running at VIR, plus Rebellion (P1), Project Libra (P2), RSR and Starworks (PC), Dempsey Racing and TRG with second cars (GTC), for a total of 38, are the only entries that I can come up with so far.

I hope some ELMS/European teams will join.

Is AMR confirmed? I remember reading somewhere that they'd left one chassis behind for PLM, but now all I can find is John Gaw saying they'd left one for the USCC tests.

Alas I bet there won't be too many Euro teams this year. I expect the ELMS P2 teams that could conceivably afford it would rather save any race-in-America budget for next year, when they will be competing for the overall win? If Oak wasn't running 3 WEC cars I'd bet they would be a candidate for marketing purposes. Otherwise, Greaves with Zugel, maybe?
