Given the widely rumoured perilous state of BMRs finances, one wonders which tree the money for the Honda has grown on.

Nevertheless it's good news for the series and quite possibly Mr Scotts racing talent has found a level where he will be competitive; he sadly struggled in BTCC - where the competition is admittedly tough.

It may also be a sign of the direction the team is planning to go in the future? From the rumours circulating on here and elsewhere, BMR appear to be have a dire financial shortfall to compete properly in The BTCC, TCR UK should be a far cheaper alternative...

I saw the Ex-Motorbase Golf testing at Snetterton today. Didn't get to see who was on driving duties but running as car #27 as pictured before.

Essex and Kent are apparently going to enter a second Hyundai from Castle Combe onwards - good to see another car joining the grid.

The deal hasn't fallen through, they just haven't managed to get another car in time for Combe. It will be out for the rest of the season as I understand.

Oh, im sorry, i didn't realise.

Dan Lloyd is NOT on pole for race 1 tomorrow. Taylor beat him by .003, slightly surprised Kent isnt closer id have thought Castle Combe would suit the Hyundai perfectly.

http://www.tsl-timing.com/event/182830/session/qu1tcr

Also whats the logic for race 2 qualifying? The slower you go the higher up the grid you get? Dan Lloyds time for the 2nd grid is 2 seconds slower than his fastest so he gets to start 2nd, that just looks stupid.

Really not very exiting when Dan seems to be the only one overtaking!

8 cars for race 2, probably 7 when the Alfa breaks down again.

I think Lines will be eating a large slice of humble pie...

Amazed that they restarted the race with the barrier in that state.

Finlay Crocker is not pleased with driving stanards. Who would dare invest £100k in a car to potentially be written off within 50kms?

Unfortunately somebody decided that again they would use the car in front as a brake to slow down at the corner and play on the ‘oh it’s the first lap melee/racing incident’ ******** which is failing now to cut it with me I’m afraid,” said Finlay.

“We’re all guilty of driving badly you could say from time to time, but when it happens three or four rounds on the trot with the same person it starts to get a little bit tedious.

“It’s about time that something was done about it. Unfortunately I’m now in a situation where I’ve got a car that more probably than possibly going to need a re-shell, so I’m not best pleased and I won’t be out in the second race.”
