Huh, They sure will use the New Toyota Prius apr GT to use to participate for next season of SUPER GT????

But the JAF announces 2016 SGT technical regulations that Toyota Prius is unable to changed the engine layout as shown above.

I am curious about that.

I think this is the bad choice for them . Because of the engine bay is to small. Unless they rebuilt the engine bay and use TOYOTA RI4A or RIAG engine as Super formula or GT500 use .

Probably they will go with similar way with several past sedan cars at Super GT/JGTC (such as Impreza/Legacy).

And also, with Prius' characteristic on its long wheelbase, it'll be the interesting challenge to get the maximum from the car.

Surely apr Racing will need some extra efforts to make that choice working.

Bingo. In a series that relies on heavy success penalties, the fact that the same 1/2 cars can consistently do well shows that they have the resources to cope with ballast and restrictors. If Honda/Lexus want to get back to the top they need to pick a team or two and provide them with a similar level of backing to that of the Motul/Calsonic GT-Rs.

I think it resembled hotpants upon looking at it. And on the subject of itasha liveries, I think Pacific Racing Team would be changing theirs from μ's to Aquours in the future.

Now back on the subject of GT500 teams, I agree that both Honda and Lexus should step it up and do consistent results like Nissan.

The R&D sport guys did ok with the front engine Legacy. And those MC 86's are pretty quick. My guess is they'll move the hybrid stuff like the batteries to the rear for a nice weight distribution and it'll continue to win races.

WOW #55 ARTA with M6 GT3?

And I saw every Mercedes cars are still SLS AMG GT3, I think it should be AMG GT3 (not sure if the new car will be obtained by all teams or not)

From teams with MC cars, I saw no differences in terms of their cars. Probably #5 Mahha Go team hasn't found other team to buy their car.

I can see those teams remarks with 'SLS AMG GT3' are in new cars and remarks with 'SLS GT3' are old

Wow, that's four AMG GT3s and Huracans each! Oh, and couple of Prii cars will be racing for next year's Super GT season, although it would be challenging for them to tune a FR car.

new Prius GT will be MR car.
It's possible to change the engine layout to a produced vehicle before 2016 according to the regulations.
