Hehehehe my reward for getting up at before 5am to watch a rather processional over-hyped Miami GP. This latest set of pics made a very pleasant relief whilst the other lot dribbled round a dreadful circuit behind a Safety Car. I had to come back and take a second more 'proper' look post race.

For the first time in many years, I watched a F1 race - in its entirety. I have occasionally taken a look, but always switched over to something more exciting, like Scooby Doo. This time I watched as George Russell, from way back on the grid, caught and passed his much vaunted, seven times World Champion, grossly overpaid, fashion icon of a team mate, SIR Lewis Hamilton. Boring? Certainly not EB.

It does not look like there was much sunshine, but then! It is Scotland.

Are you shooting from the public area, or trackside? You have not had to worry about fences like one does at Silverstone, either way.

Keep posting it eases the pressure on me to feed the masses, who have little in their lives, other than our pictures. (Yes, Viv I am talking about you)

Yes, those are great pictures, very good for those Ford fans. Seems there is a bit of sunshine, but not as much as other circuits. Knockhill I've heard is a great spectator place, but then it's only used for national and club championships. Look forward to more pictures

Don't forget Knockhill hold both the BTCC and British Superbike meetings.

I was in the public area, where the photographer's view is very good at most locations. Recently, there have been more chain fences erected, which reduces some opportunities. Was great to see the Modified Fords add variety to the usual Scottish races.

Seriously Some great pics as usual and always good to see some of the more quirky and unusual cars like the Allard (Maybe a J2X Le Mans?) in the last shot.
Or the Yellow Ferrari (500TRC?).

Anyway whatever they are very pleasing on the eye.

Simon was a great character and told some wonderful stories at one of our Marshals Club social evenings, unfortunately most are not printable though.
