Did some Googling of images and it is. The idea of having a track through the Olympic site is not too far off having a GP at the London Olympic site, though this doesn't include racing through the Olympic stadium.

I thought it looked clearly photoshopped as well. It would be awesome to see the F1 cars running through the middle of Fisht Olympic Stadium!

Looks like Thailand is getting serious about holding a GP. It is to be a street event based in Bangkok.

Another far eastern GP in the offing. What with China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, the addition of a Thai GP would put the far east one GP behind Europe. The far east is turning into a veritable cash cow for Bernie.

It looks like Bernie may be looking to run a third US GP, with a return to Long Beach.

Well the past has proved that GP's are now held where ever someone with deep pockets full of cash wishes to pass some of that cash to the F1 organisation and so what if very few people actually want the race held there, money talks, otherwise why would this Sundays race be in Bahrain

A Long Beach race would be mega though. F1 should never have left.
Can we have The Glen back the year after?

I'm completely flabbergasted by this. At first, I was shocked (in a bad way). I remembered it as a bumpy, crash-inducing temporary concrete canyon that barely reaches 2 miles and that would destroy the modern F1 car, especially with the crappy new tires. But all of a sudden, I realized that maybe that's what F1 needs. A complete shakeup... a track that doesn't fit the mold. A truly unique Grand Prix that defies all explanation.

All in all, this idea is growing on me.

It won't be the current layout surely?

Some of it will be incorporated into a longer design I would imagine.

So we're looking at an October race in Russia, eh? Should be screwy weather... it'll be raining and probably pretty cold.
