Hello!
You will help your cause no end by posting pictures; all you have.

I have been through a few years on here searching my chassis number down with total success. There are tons of people on here with exceptional memories and lots of facts, but pics get them going a lot faster

Good luck with it all.
Graham.

also are there any old scrutineering labels or tags with or on the car? Details of event and date are a quick way to help identify and track it.

John Muir (MV Turbos, Dunfermline) ran a Cosworth powered Starlet at Knockhill. Links below to photo and video. Could this be your car?

I did a bit of research on Thundersaloons a few years ago. This is what I have in my notes that might fit.... (RB is Rod Birley). That should make it easier to find pictures etc.

Swayland Toyota Starlet
RB (04) – “The Julian Swayland Toyota Starlet Cosworth went to Scotland where it is still racing although much modified.” (with John Muir) http://tentenths.com/forum/showthrea...=18209&page=17

RB (Nov 08) – “Milton Motors built a turbocharged (Cosworth) Starlet which I was going to drive. In the end Julian Swayland drove it with Robert Bridger, and I think Sean Brown did a few races. The car eventually ended up in Scotland.” http://tentenths.com/forum/showthrea...=18209&page=45

TCS (Tony Ryan) (Nov 08) – “I bought this car from its "then" Scottish owner , the car now lives in Kent and is Orange with tiger stripes, the owner hopes to race it but its been a long slog to complete the car .” http://tentenths.com/forum/showthrea...=18209&page=46 (own note - Kerr Robertson involvement?)

Well the TCS car sounds right it was raced in Scotland with MV turbo livery I believe when I bought the cat it was just a rolling shell all brakes and suspension just less engine and gearbox and dash I'm well happy with it soo far it does need a repaint but their is no rot or damage
Do you know any more info about the car ??

Many thanks James
