March 743 ex Tom Pryce
Does anyone know anything about the March ex Tom Pryce F3 monaco winner I've seen for sale on the race cars direct site, am thinking of buying it but have had trouble seeing if it has ever been in any accidents and is what it is supposed to be. (If that makes sense ?)
I assume it being raced at Monaco 3 times is a good sign as they're possibly the strictest for acceptance vs originality in their races. Also has there been a sign on when the next F3 race at Monaco will be ? Thanks |

I know the car for having driven it at Monaco. Chris Drake goes very well in it and it is in excellent condition and well looked after by his team. It has the Ford Pinto engine and carbs.
As to the next F3 race in Monaco ... I think it will be FJ again in 2018 (probably rear engine) then they say F3 1000 cc in 2020 so perhaps you are looking at 2022 for the 2 litre cars! But there are lots of great races outside Monaco, and frankly much better tracks to drive on! My 763-Toyota is also for sale - if you are interested in a March! Marcus |
