Which flag will you be flying?

hello, i decided for some fun to make a thread to find out who everyone wishes to support this year.

its shaping up to be a tremendous season and to be honest i cant wait for the season to start. who you support is not restricted to one team, you could support teams from all the series, ALMS, LMS, JLMC.

well here is mine

zytek motorsport, zytek 07S
barazi epsilon, zytek 07
luc alphand, corvette C6R

ALMS

andretti green, courage LC75 acura
highcroft racing, courage LC75 acura
PTG, panoz esperante

JLMC

hitsoyuma racing, zytek 05S

FIA GT

GLPK carsport, corvette C6R
scuderia ecosse, ferrari 430 GTC
LNT, panoz esperante

and of course for the BIG one, zytek motorsport and the works courage LC70 mugen's.

Team Modena Aston or PSi Corvette if they enters this season
GT2
GPC Ferrari and Autorlando 997

FIA-GT
GT1

ALMS P2
Fernandez & Intersport Lolas
GT1
mmmm a yellow car maybe...
GT2
Risi's Ferrari

LNT aren't doing FIA GT and I can almost guarantee that you won't be supporting a Courage LC70 Mugen

I was of the mind that it is a little early for myself to choose, as it is so early and so much has yet to be clarified!

Humm, good topic.

In the FIA - any Aston or British (read that English) teams.

In the LMS - RML, Creation, Zytech, Rollcenter, Lister, LNT, you get the drift. Plus the Spyker Squadron.

In the ALMS - Anyone willing to take it Audi and Vette.

Hmm interesting thread. Here's my thoughts:

LMS:
P1 - Lister and Rollcentre
P2 - RML
GT1 - all of them!
GT2 - Team LNT

FIA GT:
GT1 - Anything Lambo and 'Vette
GT2 - If RJN ever make a return, then probably them

ALMS:
P1 - Nobody
P2 - Dyson
GT1 - Is there really any choice!?
GT2 - PTG Panoz

As a great fan of The Underdog I still have a couple of issues to resolve in my mind for the forthcoming season, namely:

1) Dyson. Can we consider them as Underdogs now they are armed with a Porsche Spyder? Perhaps in the context of overall victory. (and maybe even within class against the Penkse/factory team).

2) Peugeot. Too big to gain my favour? Should I limit my support to the Pescarollo chassised/tubbed teams?

3) Aston. I should, but I don't (see Tenths passim).

I thought the deal was continueing on for a few years ? Surprise surprise !!!

How about a Judd GV 5.5S2 then ?

It would be great to see Courage at the top end . They really do deserve to be there .

I reckon they have a nice little car there , but reliability is an issue , maybe with the Judd and a new gearbox . What do they use for a gearbox anyway ?

courage were at the top end, especially in terms of speed they were more than a match for the pescarolo's, zytek and creation.

IMO the courage LC70 mugen's were the fastest car's towards the end of 2006, just reliability was the problem the gearbox seemed to be quite a problem, the electronics on the car were not to reliable either.

well i hope the works courage LC70's run with mugen power next year, i have a soft spot for the LC70's glorious sounding V8 engine.

The results speak for themselves .

Just because a car is quick , does not mean it is at the top end .

The top end means getting the results too .
