Doesn’t appear to be many from the UK making the trip to Budapest, but in case anyone is still prevaricating, there is space in the truck for another small to medium size race car and a limited amount of spares....

Hopefully the grids aren't to small.
Have been watching the previous livestream of the event.

The circuit people are very enthusiastic and helpful, but it’s a long haul from the UK. Not so bad if you’re based in Germany or France, obviously.
Guess the grids will be smaller than last two PA events, but possibly bigger than some other organisers recent meetings!

Start with M ?
Sad fact really.
Even if they were to lose half the entries in they're core series they'd still have more than Masters, and they claim to be the leading promoter. Not anymore I don't think...
Still a great organisation Masters though,F1 the main reason

Reason: Typing when in a car when its lashing it down isn't advisable

That's a circuit still to do on my list. look forward to hearing all about the trip Mike. We have very nearly got to travel same distance to Anglesey.

From several competitors words last year it seems there's a lack of grip there. Many soften the suspension settings but not all. What do I know?

It will probably feel similar, but at least no tolls for you! (From here, 350m or 1170m...... )
Provisional entry lists just released to competitors, and over 40 cars in 60s, 37 in CER1 and 29 in HTC. That’s more than last visit 2yrs ago. GpC not so good- 9......
Not sure on grip level, Gerard, as not driven a lap there! Do remember the ‘motorway’ from Austria to Budapest being hideously bumpy, and restricted to 80kph for trucks, though.

Yes, I’m not sure why GpC are going to Hungary, but not to Dijon, for instance. Last time they were at the latter circuit was when the Lola T92/10 was briefly racing. The sound of the Judd V10 on the straight was mind blowing. What an engine......

Maybe the track people wanted it or something maybe.
The Lola sound was just something else.Think there is another one owned and raced occasionally.

All getting very real- just paid the Hungary road tolls on line. Took ages 2 years ago as had to create an account, enter all the info and navigate my way through the site. Fortunately I saved the truck details and routes, so this time just had to reload and pay.... HUF 24651 each way, which sounds a lot until you check the exchange rate. Still a lot though for the bumpiest M'way ever with an 80kph limit....

Just over a week away, so hopefully we’ll be getting a timetable newer that the one issued 6 months ago! Or maybe they got it spot on first time...... No updates on entries, either.
Looking like temps in the mid to 20s and very little chance of rain, but who knows nowadays.

Very odd that no entries put up.I wonder why.
I wonder if they will be livestreaming the event again as it was very good last time?
