Saw an ad in autosport, 35 grand for a touring car, not bad.

Bring Back The Cavaliers should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Rather have the 2 ex Rouse Toyotas for 30 grand. They sounded great on the in car shots.

Saw the same ad-realised that the price was so low is because there is only one 'proper' st series in 2001-the ETCC. In 2002 the ETCC will probably switch to BTCC rules and super touring will effectively be totally gone.

Formula Saloons could be the competitor to the btcc, wouldn't it be great if Formula Saloons was part of the support package!

At the moment, it looks quite possible that for '01, there could be a high chance the STCC, Sud Am and ASTC series would be run to ST rules? Or perhaps a 2 class series?

OTOH, the level of professionalism definitely wouldn't be at the ESTC level, but heck, I would still be happy to see ST cars hit the track!!!

Next years TOCA Australia series will be for Future Tourers only. TOCA have been susscesfull in getting CAMS to reclassify them as Sports Sedans so they all becom sodding quick but very effing expsensive U2 Sports Sedans.

So no more ST's here.
