It has to be the car that won the race by six laps and set the fastest lap on the last lap. The awsome A9X Torana.

Those were the days...
Count this as another vote for the A9X.
Special mention too to Geoge Fury's awesome but flawed Bluebird turbo. Woefully unreliable but incredibly fast. I was lucky enough to see Fury smash the lap record in the shootout at Bathurst 1984. Perfect conditions for the turbo.Cold dense air from snowfall over night and in the early morning. Pity it hardly ever finished a race;but surely a sign of things to come. |

Sorry guys, I was forced into voting Falcon
My favourite Grp C cars would be the last of the big bangers, Johnson's and Brock's final cars in 1984....now they were awesome pieces of kit... |
