Yeh, I've been wondering whether to put it in the Ad trader lately but I just don't know what sort of price I should ask.

I've got 4 battery packs, charger, the chassis, 2 bodies, 19-turn and 27-turn motors, lots of spares like wheelnuts, suspension parts etc - trouble for me is putting a price on that!

If its complete, I'd say £200-250 depending on condition.

How do you like my S60?

Not a traditional Volvo paint scheme...

That's quite cool - like the wheels!

I put an ad on the modelsport site - have had two people offering me a swap, one an off road buggy and one a car - but it's not really what I'm looking for. Not in a hurry to sell it anyway, and not sure if I'll even bother because I may as well keep it because of the money I've spent on it..

Sorex wheels, pack of 4 for £4.99!

I'd keep the TC3, its a good car, and although many companies have tried, it doesn't get beaten too often in competition. If you decide to get back into R/C, then keeping the TC3 means that you won't need to spend out on getting 'the-latest-top-of-the-range-car'.
I reckon the TC3 is and will be competitive.

Ah, the trusty old Vectra - it's meant to be quite a slippery shell aint it?

I see your wheels are slippery too!

Means lots of speed between accidents...

Seriously thought, I find its the best handling body I've got for outdoor racing. Otherwise, I use an Alfa or the trusty Stratus indoors.

The said Stratus, only cost my £4! a local driver at my club was selling up, and all his stuff was dirt cheap. £4 for an unused body seems great!

Please stand up, go down to WHSmiths, and look by the model train magazines for this:

Then, look for the Schumacher BTCC race report to see a picture of me on the bottom of the left hand page!

My Big 6 A-final trophy, Big 6, Mission, and Stock E-final trophy are in the pic, along with me!

Did you actually go and see the pic?

My scanner isn't where my computer is, or I would have put the pic here.

good to see this thread is still alive, just. I have bought a couple more cars since I last posted. My old Tamiya FF01 finally gave up, it broke part of the top and bottom gearbox covers, allowing gears to move about inside, parts are no longer available for it. Ended up replacing it with a new TL-01LA to run alongside my TA-04PRO. Also purchased a second hand Tamiya F103 as there is renewed interest in the PRO-10 class in our club, hope to run it soon just needs a couple of parts before it is ready.

Bought and painted a Protoform TVR Speed 6, VERY disapointing body! Not at all balanced, not enough front or rear downforce, understeered and oversteered like mad! Painted it up as the DeWalt car from the british Gt series. It will now it will sit on the shelf and gather dust!

TL01LA's are the ones to have over here, that suspension kit is over £50 to buy alone!

I tried a F103 a couple of years back, a friend of mine was selling all his stuff and let me borrow it as a kind of mobile advert.......even though it was tarmac, and very warm, it was very slippery. Might have been down to the 12x2 Trinity motor it had!

My brother used a Protoform TVR, he didn't like it either. He likes a well tied down car, and it just used to drift through the corners. He thought that all it needed was a wing which was a bit bigger.

I have an Associated RC12 L3 now, I swapped a RTR Tamiya M03 Mini for the L3 rolling chassis. Just need some Yokomo battery straps and a decent ESC to run.

I will be using a tamiya 540 sport tuned in the F103.

I thought at first a bigger rear wing might help, but I realised it hasn't got enough front downforce either, so a bigger wing would make understeer worse.

Anything too quick and the rear wheels would just spin.
The F1 class here is having a resurgence, all because of that 4WD Tamiya F201. I'll have to try one to see what the fuss is about.
