Nice ad, I read Tresson is stepping upto the P2 team in 2012, who knows, in 2014 they could be going for the overall victory.

Benoit Treluyer says he wants a full-season seat in the WEC, he's pushing for Audi right now but there was some speculation about Porsche in 2014.

Also, an article on Autosport confirmed that these are going to be all-new Zytek-Nissan chassis's.

I read with great amusement that Martin will need to complete his 'rookie laps' at Le Mans next year. What level of licence does he hold these days? I assume he won't count as the 'gentleman driver' in that driver line-up.......or will he?

Great piece of news, and a nice marketing opportunity for Nissan, Greaves Motorsport and the ACO. All good, in my opinion!

Martin will be 54 next year (under the cut-off age of 55), and the fact that he raced in F1, was a factory driver at Le Mans for Jaguar, Nissan and Toyota, and won the race outright in 1990 probably means an automatic "Platinum" classification.

Thanks for that, sounds logical. I thought it was worth asking the question because the grading system has thrown up some strange anomalies. So, does that rule out the possibility of Mark Blundell being the 3rd driver at Le Mans?

I thought they ("hpd") are already in lmp1 and lmp2 as engine supplier. But there is no honda chassis yet.

Alex (i.e. Brundle Jr) didn't get a driver classification after the test day, it all depends on whether what he's done so far in racing is enough to get him a Gold classification. If he's classified as Silver, then they can get another quick pair of hands in the third seat, otherwise that third driver has to be either a gentleman driver or another youngster.

The chassis is HPD too, albeit designed by Wirth.

According to MWM Honda are the favourites to be the second Japanease manufactuer to enter P1 as a factory, 2012 as a development season (2013 too?), and like Toyota, prepare a new reg car for 2014.

Should there be any truth in the Mclaren-Honda F1 rumour, there could be a possibilty of using a version of the same engine in P1.

Isn't that the Guess Lola that appeared several times on LMS entry lists last year, tested a few times but never showed up at an actual race?

Looking at the other videos on that YouTube account 'J2MSaigon' seems to be French historic racer Jean-Marc Merlin
