Gutted for Tordoff and AmD, he was controlling the field until that bobble, but hey ho 2nd isn't to be sniffed at given the horrible start of the season he's had.

Can always get on board with an Andy Jordan title charge, this is the best he's looked since 2014.

Turks leads the title by 1 point from Sutton

so dead battery for Tordoff which means no power steering

Don't know what anyone else thinks but I'm finding this year a tad boring. Can't put my finger on what but there's something missing. Everything seems a bit stale. Probably not helped by the fact that that 1st race was so uneventful.

This years not looking too good for team hard. They seem to be getting worse every year. Can't see Jack Goff attracting any new sponsors with 21st place

Enjoying this Mini se7en race, much more exciting than the Porsches.

Hope they’ll do the same next year, they could scrap all the other support races for one round and do all minis with the amount of different classes if you include all the Mini Challenge stuff too, not just the JCWs.

I have to agree, the first race was fairly boring to watch. The whole package seems stale. The old style MINI's are providing an interesting variation on the support package but I fear the BMW MINI's won't provide the same level of entertainment next year.

The support races need more variety, the paying punter doesn't want to watch endless Ginetta races. There should be another single seater series. I can understand why Porsche are missing this meeting as there are more interesting circuits they can race at.

TCT would be a better support series

I don't think single seaters belong on the package and the Porsches don't really add any excitement for me.

I'd like to see them showcase a different tintop club series at each circuit. It would be a great way of getting people interested in the grass roots.

I agree. I know it's not that simple, but I'd have no single seaters on the schedule, and I don't think Porsches suit either. I'd prefer to put them on the BGT bill.

That's the first Mini Se7en race I've seen since the 1980's, great to see that they are still as entertaining as they used to be. (Even though I was watching it at home on TV I was sure I could still smell the burning rubber and Castrol R!)

Tim revelead a big problem

the top gear is mandated and it's too short and you can't pass even with slipstream

Tim also mentioned "unofficial FWD category"

Great job by AJ and the whole BMW team. I reckon this is the best team out there, the biggest manufacturer input, financially very stable, WSR's always been a top team and now they've got newly developed car. I'd be surprised if BMW lost this year's title.
And nice to see Cammish twice on the podium.

Cars with full ballast should not be unchallenged at the front. The decrease in weight for this year was a step back.

The decrease in weight was a daft idea, last year we had 1 occasion where R1 winner won R2, now its just been made easier to win the second race

Hmm... just seen the results, 5 wins from 8 races from BMW seems a little more weighted than it perhaps should...?

Josh Cook wins race 3.

Who would've thought Rory Butcher would've been joint championship leader!?

Looks like we're set for 2 rounds of BMW domination next, though...

How long is it until we consider Rory Butcher a Championship contender then?

Fast, clean and consistent in a car that's proven as one of the best on the grid.

Maybe the team will who puts together the best package is deserving of more good results. The teams I’m sure all agreed to the decrease in ballast.

Also interesting to see Ian Harrison back managing Team BMR for what he says is only this weekend.
