"The team will also form a partnership with Shell V-Power Racing Team, racing one of their Ford FG-X Falcons that has been freshly rebuilt for next season." -- That's a worry (rebuilt = fitted with various left over bits?)... But given MSR's excellent relationship with DJRTP, it will probably be a rocketship and indeed better than current 888 Commodore.

It does seem a risk to abandon the 888 Commodore for other equipment -- are they getting shocks and other go-fast tweaks from DJRTP?

The chassis MSR is getting has apparently been raced by DJRTP this season.

They are kinda aligned already, the Mostech engine shop on the MSR campus, and so many former SBR technogumbies now at DJRTP..

I read recently that Boost will be on 3 teams next year

Exciting to have a new team on board. Season 2018 (IMO) is looking very competitive and the gap from top to bottom less

Mr J.Stone is at most rounds, Mr R.Stone does not appear connected to this team at all.

That said, it probably isn’t likely that Mr J. Stone will be at every round next season either.

Very exciting for Todd but the vehicle and engineering is a big question mark for me.

These DJRTP machines are fast but fickle in the most talented and experienced hands, with some of the best engineering minds, how will MSR and Todd go in a single car team?

From what we saw earlier there is no ongoing support or even parts package for the car, so that in itself is interesting.
