Y'know, would it be nice if Bandai Visual and Kadokawa would sponsor Pacific Racing again much like they sponsored the team back in 2015. Love Live! McLaren, anyone?

Nah, it's time to go hardcore.

Let's have a Dark Souls car to promote the remaster. Given how buggy it will probably be, it is a perfect match for Pacific Racing!

I think I spotted Ryuichiro Tomita going to Audi Team Hitotsuyama as well.

These previews are so low-res that I can't even really distinguish a lot of the kanji. X_X

About DTM future after Mercedes withdrawal
Jamie Green (AUDI) thinks that tie-up with SGT is only hope for DTM.
He thinks that adoption of NRE was a best choice.

In contrast, Timo Glock (BMW) thinks that DTM must learn from Virgin Australia Supercar Championship series.
Less downforce/more power is right direction.
They can perform overtaking, and do side-by-side battle, which is impossible in current DTM.
Class 1 regulations must learn from VASC style.

A departure that seemed inevitable, given how much success he's been having with Lamborghini.

I'm really going to miss Andrea. It doesn't seem entirely fair that his last Super GT race will be remembered for a clumsy formation-lap shunt that took his team out of title contention.

Glock must not watch much Super GT, because GT500 even with the DTM rules has side by side action and lots of battling/overtaking.

The Caldarelli move must have opened a spot for guys like Kamui Kobayashi. This gives the Lexus teams a driver shuffle and new pairings.

I'm inclined to believe that what the auto sport staff are reporting is what we'll see out of Lexus in GT500. We've already spotted Rosenqvist testing the Wako's car, and Kobayashi's name on the roof of the Denso LC500. This would also likely mean Sekiguchi is replacing Rossiter in the au LC500 and Yamashita is replacing Sekiguchi in the Weds LC500.

All we need now is for Toyota to just...put the dang press release out....

Why Timo Glock wants DTM to learn from Supercars when his racing series pushed their regulations to Super GT almost 5 years ago?

Anyways, I think Kobayashi-san will likely become a co-driver to Kovalainen. I mean, there's those spy shot circulating around Twitter.

Autosport web reports SGT air-con use by Hiroaki Ishiura.
http://www.as-web.jp/supergt/237990?all

GT500 cars are obliged to install air conditioners.
However, you can decide on and off the air-con by yourself.
The air-con of Lexus has a cooling mode (on) and a fan mode (off).
So Ishiura use a fan mode (off) in qualifying sessions.
However, cooling compressor does not operate when you are in full throttle.
Therefore, it is subtle whether it actually affects the straight speed or not.
Nevertheless, Ishiura does not use cooling mode in qualifying lap.
