A New Innovation from OMP
Ok, we've seen it before on Single seaters, but I've never heard of one for rally or touring cars before. Thoughts from the rescue bods? |

Looks good and quite clever.
Two questions though - how do you get it over the door bars, and how long until similar designs trickle down the ladder and reach club events etc etc? |

The same way you'd get a KED over the door bars...or you could cut them away if necessary.

Thing is, if a driver warrents extracation on a spinal board, it's highly likely the rescue crew will have done some cutting before hand.
Apart from the price, I see no reason why this can't be fitted to a clubbies car. |

Price could be a factor, but think it's like any of these things - sometimes just think they take a while to "work themselves down" so to speak.

these seat are designed to get the driver out with the minimum damage to the car as possible .it is only this country that has recue unit most country in europe realy on ked extraction crews who carry no cutting gear

I believe it currently only fits the WRC model of seat. but that price puts it firmly in reach of only professional teams. Hopefully it can filter down quickly.
