I assume that you assume that there is anything outstanding owed by Thompson. I would think that if anything was owed to WSR than it would be from Zeus, who would appear to have welched on their deal, that, based on what Dick Bennetts said at the time, was something that they were involved in setting up.

The impression I got from that Dick Bennetts interview a couple of months back was they weren't laying any blame with Bobby and they just saw it as one of those things that happens in Motorsport. Everyone took Zeus at face value as a sponsor for Bobby's car and as a team sponsor too and then the promised money never arrived beyond Snett.

Real shame it didn't work out but I'm excited to see what DeLeon can do with WSR and I hope there's a spot somewhere on the grid for Bobby too.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we see Senna Proctor back on the grid. He was at Brands & was hanging around with the PMR lot at the after season party, but heard him linked to Speedworks.

He’d be another quick peddler on the grid if he does get a deal sorted.

It would be good to have Proctor back. His last season in 2021 shows what he can do in a race winning car

Should we see Dudman Honda and Cook all reunited then he would be ideal for the other seat . Bit inconsistent but really stood out in that team and car .

Confirmation of a two car LKQ team - one of which will almost certainly be Aiden Moffat then.

So… is LKQ replacing the BMW branding then? 2 LKQ + 2 MB? Or 2 LKQ, 1 BMW and 1 MB? I guess MB haven’t actually announced running a second car, that’s just rumours for now.

Seems like either LKQ is replacing Team BMW or there'll be just one "factory" car and one sponsored by MB. My guess is no factory branding.

Anyway... the Deleon announcement just said joining WSR - so we could see a Turks in a Team BMW car, Hill in a MB car, then Deleon and Moffat in LKQ cars.

Wouldn't ECP and BMW brands on the cars being a conflict of sponsorship?

I doubt very much that you will see "BMW brands" on the ECP cars.

there was no toyota brands on the two ecp cars

I think everyone knew that! Although, again, (I'm sure it will sink in eventually), this deal has nothing to do with MB.

This doesn't seem to be as clear cut as first thought - if this was going to be the defacto 'main team' then surely DeLeon would be announced as part of the driving package?

2X LKQ - Moffat/DeLeon?
1X MB - Jake Hill
1X BMW - Turkington?

Unless the team acquires an additional TBL, DeLeon is part of the BMW entry and A N Other in at LKQ.

All hypothetical but intriguing nonetheless.

Only 1 MB car, so looks like only 1 Team BMW car unless they get an extra TBL!

Keeping up the intrigue Dick B is stating the drivers are still undecided with 6 people possible . If so Deleon and Hill won’t be part of this . Maybe DdL is bringing his own sponsors (Duckhams ?) If they did want to run a 5th car would Gow put his foot down and say no or make one more available . Whilst 24 was his chosen number I think he might allow one more , so long as all the others are filled .I also still wonder how serious is the entry by One Motorsport or is it a strategic entry so as to allow other teams to expand . I still expect Scott Sumpton to enter but I don’t see it in the remaining seats .
