Not sure what you're trying to get at here. Jelley's a great chap and has had a tough season so far. We should be celebrating him finally getting Team Parker into the points, instead of going "hurr durr hes still behind drivers who've left the championship lol".

As a certain German driver once quipped, "honestly, what are we doing here?"

Tom Ingram. Speechless.

Gutted for HARD - Bushell fell down the order a bit, and Thompson pretty much shadowed Ingram until he spun. At least they seem to have a good car underneath them now!

Butcher up there again in the MG, so too Smiley.

BTCC cars are overfuelled so they can add laps for SC. They should consider adding laps for situations like this as well.

Why would they reduce the length of the race before it even starts? This is ridiculous.

Congratulations to Smiley, that's both Norlin cars with a win this season and I don't think many people expected that! Great to see that passion as well!

Shame for Motorbase to lose a win though, and Tordoff 4th again! Thompson in P7 is incredible!

Surprised Turks has retaken the championship lead, fairly unspectacular this weekend but I guess he racked up the points.

Good days racing today and sad to see Rockingham go.

Great win from Morgan, a top driver in the series. Sutton again up there, but like at Snetterton, no points in R3! But he’s definitely in the title hunt now

Turkington’s consistency is really paying off. Tingram was so unlucky in race 1, but what a recovery. He has a big chance of the title this season. What happened to Goff though? He was nowhere all weekend.

Motorbase cars looked, shame both had bad luck, although what a drive by Chilton in R1 and Tordoff in R3. Would have been interesting to see where Sonic would have been in the championship with a win in R3.

Smiley, great win though, he deserves it for his hard work. And Bushell up there, shame he couldn’t hang onto third in R2 and Thompson is on form. And well done Jelley on breaking his points duck, didn’t look too bad this weekend

So goodbye Rockingham, we’ve had some great racing time after time. Now let’s see how many of the 9 title contenders will still be realistically in it after Knockhill

At last Jelley scored some points! He's been threatening to do that for a few meetings now and even better, he's already done better than last year in the Focus! Well done to Chris Smiley as well, I could see it happening soon enough and well, he's done it!

I'm absolutely delighted for Chris Smiley. Norlin have been a really impressive outfit since they joined, and he's been a really underrated star for me. He's worked damn hard to get here and is a really decent fella, so I hope it's the first of many.

Ingram drove like a Champion in race two. That Avensis with no weight and him at the wheel is an outstanding combination.

BTC Norlin won as many races in the Ex Dynamics cars than Dynamics did with their new cars....

wonder if Jordan will be relocated to rear gunner for Turks at Knockhill or used to give tow for Turks at Silverstone

Well I've never liked that hairpin off the end of the banked section.

The amount of nasty accidents that have happened there over the years means that for me it is goodbye and good riddance to Rockingham.

Now if that hairpin wasn't there then I may have been able to allow the positive things about the place come to the fore of my memory...

As for today was pleased by a number of things:

Bushells excellent form, only slightly lost some shine with the R3 bump.

Bobby Thompson showing he is getting a handle on the VW and BTCC.

So that's two HARD drivers doing well; Cainey isn't gelling and I do not think will be back next year.

Glad to see Plato digging in and fighting in R3; life in the old man yet and he was just plain unlucky in R1 & 2.

Smileys win, really looked the happiest man in the world: he's a nice lad and I feel it was thoroughly deserved fir him and the Norlin team.

Cammish was just plain clumsy in R1; poor Tordoff, Plato, Smelt and others suffering because of it.

Sad to see Sonic have that slide and subsequent tag in R3; don't think he would have won, but would have been good to watch him defend.

Wish Tingram would find some good luck somewhere; what broke this time?

So out of the following, who's likely to win a race before the season finishes?

Dan Cammish
The Motorbase Drivers
Jason Plato
Andrew Jordan
Rory Butcher
The other 2 Mercs
A Team HARD Driver
Brett Smith
Other

Anyone else I've left out?

Rob Austin maybe - the Alfa's quick enough if he can stay out of trouble.

I would imagine Jordan and Moffat would have a very good chance at Knockhill with little to no ballast. Plato's last two wins have been there as well, but that's a whole other can of worms!

I'd be very surprised if either / both Tordoff and Chilton don't pick up a win by the end of the season, too.

12 at the moment, 9 races to go.

Forgot about Austin but that's why I put "Other", starting to lose confidence in Cammish, inexperienced BTCC Rookie or not, he keeps colliding with other drivers, falling back in the races or fluffing his starts. Anyone have any further opinions?
