Plenty of cars out there in sheds. Audi’s, Alfa’s, Hyundai’s and a Cupra, will a Supercars support schedule get them out on track?

Interesting….there would surely have had to have been a guarantee of grid numbers to Supercars to get on their support card.

Surely the teams aren’t happy with 5 rounds?

With 3 of them in New Zealand,Perth and ,by the look of it, China this is their very own world tour.Might as well administer the last rites now.

I'm so confused. There will be very few Kiwi TCR cars at Taupo - probably 3 or 4 at the most.

Very similar to this year's Australian Formula 4 Series, which featured three rounds in Australia, one in Malaysia and one in Dubai.

Very odd.

However it seemed to work for them with their largest entry the series has had in its history.

Would Supercars tip in the freight bill for NZ and WA?

Presumably the last round is Macau and the organisers there will freight the Australian cars in?

You’d assume the only point of an NZ round is so the local cars can join in and bump the grid up
I would guess that there's few current spec cars that would be competitive without upgrades. The Supercars spectators would bring some appeal though

The last round is in China.
Was never going to be at Macau due to grid number restrictions.
Doubtful about financial support.Nothing in it for Chinese organisers to have 5-8 Australian cars running around at the back of a World Tour field.

If it’s China then the Australian cars will be part of the shipping deal for the World Tour cars after Tailem Bend.

Given the increased control it looks like WSC is taking, they won’t be hanging the Aussie series out to dry.
