Validating your licence when competing abroad

Some alarm on a Rally website at a Belgian event demanding "a letter from the MSA" to confirm that competitors had the correct licence. They said thay had had fake licences presented.

The MSA says that they have liaised with the Belgian ASN, and advise that anyone competing abroad should have the right licence (!) and to go with it a copy of this page from the MSA website: https://www.msauk.org/assets/competi...tingabroad.pdf

It just lists the licences that allow competition abroad, and shows a specimen copy of the licence, but the MSA assures everyone that this is more than sufficient.

Just seen this from the MSA on Twitter

"The MSA is aware that there has been some confusion regarding Rally von Werwick & the necessary start permissions for MSA competition licence holders.

We have been in contact with the RACB, who have drawn the event organisersí attention to the MSA policy on competing abroad."
