Exhaust fabricators

I am aware of Simpson race exhausts and their work looks really good, but are there any other custom exhaust fabricators located in Southern UK that people have used / recommend?

Its only logistics, nothing against the North by the way!!

SWCRacing has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Try Jon at Woolfy's Workshop near Brackley

Does all kinds of fabrication, previously worked at Pro Drive, his welding is as near perfect as I have ever seen

Try Solid Fabrications at Orpington ( just outside LEZ ) very good rep with Honda crowd as well as many others, I will be having an exhaust system made there in the near future. Contact 07951643450

I've used Hayward and Scott in Basildon, Essex a couple of times (http://www.haywardandscott.com) who do custom fit (see their gallery page) as well as their standard range. The workmanship is excellent, but be sure to specify exactly how you want it run as my last system was a bit of a "loose interpretation" of what I asked for!

My mate has also used Zero Exhausts (http://www.zeroexhausts.co.uk/) in Ashford, Kent and was pleased with his system. I understand lead time can be an issue though.

PTR Exhausts in Brackley (whilst perhaps not very south) were really, really good when we used them recently. No hesitation in recommending or returning.

How could you not be anything but pleased with this. Sadly lead time is an issue.

And of course - BTB Exhausts in Woodford Halse near Daventry, Northants.
Very very good indeed.

I can vouch for Jon, just had an exhaust manifold made, made a jig with him last Wednesday & he took plenty of measurements & photo's of the installation, he made the manifold & we fitted it with a couple of minor adjustments this Tuesday, excellent !

In the end I had my system made by Mike at Edwards Motorsport in West Drayton.

They specialise in exhausts, but do all types of fabrication, cages, spaceframes, aluminium tanks and radiators etc.

Really friendly and their design and fabrication is excellent!
