Truck Racing / Great & British Festival, Thruxton
Not sure if this is the place for an International Truck Challenge, but the G&B Festivals, I guess, fall under National motorsport...
Some images from said truck racing along with a few of the Mini Challenge and Radical Bi/Enduros are online at MSportUK. It's been a while since I saw truck racing and i'd forgotten just what a spectacle it is. Not since monster truck racing have I felt so vulnerable in a trackside enclosure, big wobbly trucks drifting out of the chicane mere feet away! Brilliant fun! It was the first time I'd seen truck racing (Other than on tv) and although the racing was good, I was stunned at the level of smoke! At several points you couldn't see the circuit at all! Better than I expected though, especially as they weren't the reason for me going.
