That interview was the best thing on TV this year, no doubt about it.
Always welcome on the bank of course, but with the obvious talent, would Andy not be better in a course car? Got to be worth a parade lap, at the very least |

i have to say, after been involved in an unusally high amount of big incidents this past season including andys.i was seriously trying to justify why i do this each weekend and if its worth the risk. when you get a quick thanks from a driver you helped and especially a letter like this one andy has wrote it makes u realise why you keep doing it. glad to hear your back on the mend andy and good luck with the rest of your recovery. it is a shame your not gettin back in a car but i think we all understand the reasons you have. iam sure you will always be welcome to make an appearance on the bank with us lot from time to time.

Hey hey, good to hear from you Andy ! By Christ you had us all going there mate, was touch and go for a while, but you didn`t give up and that's what counts.
I imagine Christmas this year will be so very special to all of your family for obvious reasons, have a ball and enjoy. We can now properly have a ten tenths sigh of relief ! |

Like many before me Andy, I'll echo the comments made by so many of my Marshalling colleagues. It is absolutely fantastic to see you having made what seems like an incredible recovery to date. I know you are still at the baby steps stage, but as the saying goes, anyone can eat an elephant. You've just got to take very small bites. Even if we don't see you behind the wheel again, we'll all cross paths in the paddock I'm sure and everyone will be so glad to see you and all of your extremely strong, brave family.

Finally managed to get on and read Andy's good news post. Just to let you and your family know we are still thinking of you whilst you continue recovering. Just remeber every day is a step upwards. Wishing you a continued rapid recovery and a Happy Christmas to all your family. Take Care.

That's great news, wasn't he just about to announce it for 2009 when he had the accident?
