Wouldnt be surprised if this was Audis doing. Hoping karma will bite them like it did at the Ring , would like to see Hexis up there. Schubert should be quite strong too.

This is a big surprise...Is it because if supplying tires to other series or some kind of shutdown at one the factories? I never thought Michelin would struggle to make tires....they do supply a heck of alot of teams worldwide though.

This is in the S. Ratel press conference. http://www.blancpain-endurance-serie...em.php?key=107 |

Pity they couldn't have run the car on Avons given the fact that their other car is running them and the team knows the tyre. Might be short of the ultimate pace, I guess?
Anyway, what a royal cock-up. Having an all-pro Belgian team have to pull out for a reason like this is not the way to market a race in Belgium! I'm kind of appalled that the SRO didn't move life and limb to help out, but I have a hunch they are helping themselves out more directly. Interesting that Michelin's priority goes to BES regulars... |

Dont worry, who cares if professional teams that had a chance at victory are pulling out, a confusing points system that nobody understands is being used, no GT1 and GT1 cars will be there, a B.S. mandatory pitstop rule thats likely to make the race a dull Audi Fest, and the fact that there might not actually be enough tires for the race???
Bob Sinclar (who?) will be performing live and there will be a massive fireworks show! Great job as usual by the SRO and others to organize this event. |

No idea, and it has been used for the last 5+ years, anyway... not last year of course with Spa being a non-championship race, but otherwise it's nothing new.

Well known DJ - its to get those in who otherwise would not attend the event, who knows they might even like the racing and come back. According to your location you wont be there so stop moaning

Sorry, just sharing an opinion, especially about the pitstop rule. Still though despite missing the GT2 cars, cant help but be kind of excited for this race. Monza was one of the best GT races Ive seen since BPR back in the 90s. Hopefully the Porsche brigade and perhaps Marc VDS and the CRS Mclarens can challenge the Audis. Just hope the GT3 cars can hold up and produce an exciting race for 24 Hours...
And yes: air travel does exsist. I have attended the Spa 24h race before in 2006 as well as F1 at Spa once despite living on a rock in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. |

Yup. Xavier Maassen has joined Archie Hamilton, Harry Kolen and Hoevert Vos in the BMW Z4 GT3 of Faster Racing by DB Motorsport.
Their second car will be Jeroen den Boer, Simon Knap and David Hart. |

No current ones on the entry list, but Manthey have entered a car and it does feature one R. Westbrook. However... one of the 911s entered in Pro doesn't have an announced line-up yet.

JMB Racing is likely to skip the Spa 24 Hours.
Even though they have new 458 Italia GT3 there isn't enough time to prepare them for the 24 Hours, as they were also used in GT Open at Spa, FIA GT3 at Paul Ricard and will race at GT Open this weekend. |
