Mmm, you could always try drinking WATER with your meal. No alcohol, no sugar, no fat, no E numbers, and..... you can taste the food!

I woke up quite cheerful this morning ... has anybody got some really awful news they could share?

A sick granny rushed to intensive care? A favourite pet being run over?

An arrest for sheep bothering? Invasion of the family home by 50 economic migrants?

Anyone's transporter been stolen, looted, and burn out over night?

Come on I should hate this happy mood to linger.

That's it chaps keep the gloom going, and let's make Mike happy.

On a more serious note, have you spotted that Delta's contributions are always light hearted? Even falling off his bike and cracking his skull was a cause of mirth. Stout fellow that Iain.

Now where is that old mold.

You want bad news Bob? I've got to go to St Albans on Friday morning to pick a truck up If that's not bad enough I went to open my car door this afternoon and it won't open from the outside so I expect a cable is broken inside which is going to be more expense for a poor wannabe pensioner.

And, what's wrong with St Albans, apart from the fact that it's become too expensive? And just 30 mins on the BedPan line to the centre of London.

Ferrero Rocher. A bit like this job. Looks great from the outside but once you take a bite you wonder why you bothered.

Still I've got my flights booked for Goodwood and Donington Festival.

Well, I've got a stinking cold too - decided I'm calling it man flu. Tried doing a bit of work on Monday, but after only a couple of hours I came over all faint and felt decidedly unwell!

Just about managed to complete what I was doing - a few jobs on an old Vauxhall Royale coupe, bet a few on here remember those - but haven't done anything since.

The work's gonna start piling up around me soon...

How did you know that I've not done anything else since remembering the Vauxhall Royale Coupe?

I had a customer with one of those Paul. I even remember the reg. DT1000. He also had DT10 on an old Sierra and DT100 on a 911. There you go Bob that was interesting.

Good news on the door Tim, I was very concerned about your problem, however, as to having to go St. Albans, it is much better than Luton, and closer to Kent so it is not all bad. Even better is that you will be removing a truck from the town, so one less to clog the highways, seems like a win-win situation to me. Oh! There is a McDonald's handy as you come off the M25.

I would offer to come down to the town and say hello, but Mrs Bob has to have her elbow checked, and that means endless waiting in corridors, wondering if everyone has forgotten you are there.

I wish you a safe and swift journey.

Cheers,

Bob.

Did your customer have a Vauxhall or a cold, Iain, it was not completely clear from your post, and if it was a cold why did he give it a number?

Just wondering. (not sulking).

Now isn't this better than those turgid discussions on licences, etc.?

Got out on my bike again today, thought I'd try a different trail, much more hilly than previous ones (I didn't know before I started). Was absolutley knackered, virtually on my knees, really wanted to take a short cut back to the car but had no idea which way to go so had to complete the trail..........
