without pitstops we will see who really has the fastest cars
and i can say Mr Ambrose will be the fastest - last year he was going well up front then his car lost a cylinder dropping him to 4th not bad |

Ingall hit the wall with the rear.... caused the flat
Dumbrell clipped a wall with the rear... also has a flat Yoong out after a suspension upright broke... Skaife's car not happy... they will likely withdraw it... Brede's car sitting at the side of the circuit.. engine issues... |

Rick Kelly wouldnt pass Ambrose, even though he was given plenty of opportunity to do so... team orders from Kmart perhaps?
Rusty's comments was the best... about the incident at the chicane that ruined his weekend and championship... to paraphrase Rusty said he didnt want to take on young drivers with rich dads...  Best hit of the race: Tony Longhurst on Paul Weel... a mega hit, damage to both cars... can anyone spell P-A-Y-B-A-C-K

GTR, I think your wrong regarding PAYBACK. From the replay on Sports Tonight Weel had a slide mid corner and Longhurst had nowhere to go.
I am not normally cynical but, I do suspect that Rick was under orders to stay behiond Marcos. |

Sol. Maybe the first touch but not the 2nd hit. And if they payback was for the earlier incident when the WPS car spun and caused a 3 car end to end it was for no reason.

I am suprised Skaife didn't get a drive through, he was never going to make the first turn, it could be argued that Ambrose was under control and waiting to turn into the corner and a "crazy man" dived up the inside and failed to take th corne. Had it been at ANA he would have been in the wall

Todds such a nice guy but Rick needs a kick fair up the a$$.
Even Mrs Kelly when interviewed about her sons on the Bathurst telecast said (in so many words) Rick had the big mouth in the family, Craig Lowndes never acted like that when he was racing at Kellys age

Larry and Kim use an irony and cutting wit at levels that are significantly beyond Mr Kelly at the moment.
When these guys have a dummy spit, their arguments may use strong words on occassion, but the passion for the sport shines thru, taking the wider view about the commitment of their own teams as opposed to the spoilt brat mentality of some others ably mentioned. And someday the story of the steak will come out and embarass the **** out of him.... |
