Will Ted Kravitz make it to Hollywood?

As a sound effects expert?

what did you guys make of his "brup-brup brup"...." broom broom broom.."..

describing the difference between Kimi and Alonso's tyres...

James was quite harsh with him over a couple of points today. Which was a bit rich!

He is a standard ITV presenter.

Ted Kravitz has a habit of making me cringe at constant intervals. He really should go back to holding boards up in the commentary box.

Ted brought a bit of light relief, I thought.

Did anyone notice after Liuzzi's first pit stop when Vitantonio ran wide into a corner, James said "obviously doesn't like the new set of tyres!"

A Carlton Kirby-esque moment, that one.

My friend says he's got the looks for Hollywood

James also blamed DC CONCLUSIVELY for that pit lane penalty without knowing the full details ...........DC might well be at fault but we don't know that yet.

Yes, he highlighted the dramatic nature of the problem I guess.

But quite frankly, we could see that anyways from the onboard shots!

Yes, I think we managed that one, surprisingly, all on our own.

James made another mistake, he sounded convinced that this race was Ruben's first podium of the season in one clip - forgot about Oz!

Brundle got a bit agitated by James at one stage of the race, I think it was to do with Coulthard leading.

Of course, he did his best bit to embarras himself when he shouted:

"I was shaking in Istanbul AND I'M SHAKING NOW!!!!!

Did he really need to add the extra bit to Ted's sound effects: "Ted Kravitz sound effects, copyright, ITV 2005"?
Seemed pointless to me!

James Allen is from Merseyside, it's not a surprise he'd have been at the match.

I think it was clear he was at the game, had a croaked/duked voice, must have been shouting at Istanbul again.

Both Kravitz and Allen should leave F1 to go to Hollywood and do the rest of us a big favour. They might prove exceptional in background crowd scenes.

Pointless, yup, but it sounded like an effort to embarress Ted to me. I dunno, maybe it's a sign I need to go out more on a Sunday afternoon when I'm seeing rivalries emerge between ITV presenters.

Martin was excellent at ignoring James' point and switching subject today, stirling effort.

Maybe James is jealous that its Ted who calculates all the fuel strategies now and the tyre pressures, the job James seemed to adore down in the pits.

If James was trying to embarras Ted, then he made a pretty poor job of it, just embarrasing himself immencely and I felt a bit embarrased that he said that and the 'shaking' and 'duking' bits.
I'm not an ITV digger, but I have to admit that James had one of his worst commentary days today over the 4 years of doing it.
