DNQ should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Mr. Ed Irvine's chat with Louise

Well, what about that hey?
After he retires and chats with Louise, he just slams Jaguar pretty much...that's a side of Eddie I didnt expect to see during an interview

Quote:
We just did what we normally do and just hang around at the back and hope to finish
And what a miserable tone as well? Based on that, no Eddie at Jag in 2003! He's giving Ford/Jaguar a SHOCKING image.

Maybe if they provided him with a decent car their image would improve?

At least he speaks the truth and doesn't feed the press a load of BS about how he's got a car that can win races and championships....

not at all, he's honest and Jag don't need a driver who watches his words or lies through his teeth! everyone knows how bad the Jag is, including Eddie and The Rat.

Ooops, kind of wrote that a bit harshly there
It's only 6am here when I wrote that!

Instead of
"He's giving Ford/Jaguar a SHOCKING image"
How about
"He's not hepling Jaguar's PR department"

Valve Bounce has been held in scrutiny for further testing
Maybe after seeing the far suprior performance of Jordan, Eddie has his sights there. Can't blame him. That Jag is going nowhere, a poor excuse for a factory team.

Awww Eddie's just stating facts. The Rahal R-3 is the worst car on the grid. Even a monkey could design a better car.

I was only half-listening (with a year year old on my lap!). Did he open the interview with some line about having to finish his drink of Aqua-pura?

Perhaps he's now interested in making his money a different way by selling soft drinks at GP's.

It's not hard to imagine him in a buger van whinging about the way his burgers seem to have shrunk in size!

If I misheard him - sorry for wasting valuable 'web hosting space'.

Irvine has never been afraid to speak the truth (or what he thinks is the truth) and that is an example of a driver tired of trundling round the back of the field with no hopes of any sort of success.

However, considering his usual chirpiness, it was surprising to hear him so downcast. He's not even that thrilled about apparent developments due for Silverstone.

Mania, it wasn't Bobby Rahal who designed the rubbish car Jaguar have at the moment, it was the deisgn team, Bobby was the team principal. I accept that he was in charge of the team but I don't think we can blame him for the bad design. That's rather like saying the dreadfully designed Ron Dennis car if one were referring to McLaren!

Yeah but he was still the boss and the guy who put the technical side together. Maybe Bobby realized his screw up and then went for Newey. But when that blew up in his face, Bobby got the sack. I read an interview with Eddie the other day and he said something along the lines of "Rahal's R-3 has no future whatsoeverm we cant do anything with that car".

I think a lot of folks at Jag believe it was Rahal and SN who were responsible for theR-3. But if Nikki comes up with an even lousier R-4,then the shoe's on the other foot!

At the end of the day, Irvine should not be unable to beat De La Rosa consistantly (in fact PDLR has the qualifyingadvantage) considerin that he is the highest paid Ford employee of any kind. Irvine at Jaguar in 2003 makes no sense to Irvine, to De La Rosa, to Courtney, to Lauda, or to FoMoCo as a whole
