pete55 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Who are the sponsors in 2005.

What we know now is that Betta Electrical are staying at 888, Castrol (BP) at Perkins, Supposedly Shell at DJR, Same applies with Valvoline at GRM, WPS at WPS obviously and SBR are supposed to be the same as this year.
Knowing that, who are the other team's sponsors. Word around is that PWR will have a new sponsor, Bright's are unannounced, BJR?, FPR? (supposedly CAT is staying, don't know about Ford Credit), Larkham ( Orrcon i guess will stay),Dynamik ? and then theres the others. Anyone know what is happening with some of these teams.

PWR will pick up Kmart, won't they, pete, as part of the Murf Marketing Strategy? If not Kmart, perhaps another Coles brand....drive brands during times of profitability to lessen the pain at the times of a slump - now there's an idea aye!

BJR? Rumours abound but they keep going anyway. OzEmail cant be too happy about the BigPond presence, but then wouldn't pulling out at times like that be a sign of weakness?
FPR are touting for a newbie to come onboard, but I am not sure why - as in who is being replaced or leaving to go elsewhere?
Bright?
Dynamik?
Tasman?

TKR wont have Holden....because that would be too shattering to admit defeat by backing the Kiwi minnow. Hyundai will though, because, well, Holden won't despite promises made.

Bound to tickle the Evomike heckles....

I don't know, having OzEmail all over the BigPond highlights package is a great case of ambush marketing.

I believe that Inner Circle Rum will be seen on the Tasman Motorsport Car(s?) until at least this time of next year.

I hope they change the colour scheme of the Tasman cars then. They are the worst looking car on the grid.

If so they wouldn't beat Tasman by much.

A shame the vested interests have Toyota locked out - their budget on AFL must be HUGE. These same vested interests (AVESCO, TEGA, Holden, Ford) are looking after themselves by limiting the size of the V8 supercar pie. Interesting that Toyota choose AFL for its national audience - great win to Port yesterday in the best Grand Final for years.

I believe there will be a few ford teams that will be in new colours.. One will be a pretty big shock and the companys plans are being revealed late this week. The other is a ford team talked about in this thread a bit...

Heres an interesting thought.... will supercheap be involved with another v8 team next year or pull the pin entirely?

Recently Public listed company? We might see them go, but you would hope they will stay.

If Super Cheap are off, will the new sponsor fund the rumored two cars? Why make such an announcement just prior to Bathurst? Unless they will be on board immediately?

Not sure about that one, I think with the resigning of shell they wouldn't get the same amount of exposure available as they did at FPR. They might play a smaller role if any.

There is a rumour of a driver who's father handles sponsorship moneys from his company is actively looking for a drive and is supposedly looking to QLD for that drive. That sponsors name has in the past been on a certain QLD team also.
