retro I think you'll find its for this round only. Leigh has been following and commmentating the champ cars all year so I guess his commitments are doubled for the weekend, commentating both the champcars and the v8's for seriously 10.

As far as I know Leigh has not been commenting on the Champ Cars this year. He has been doing work on the Rolex Sportcar Series and various Speedworld Challenge Series.
I also believe he has quite Speed Channel in the US to head home. |

Leigh has to be back next week for the last round of the Grand Am race at California.
But he did say that he will be "back to oz" for next year. we(from the usa) will all miss him! |

I like Leigh Diffey, he brings a lot of enthusiasm to the commentary box.Met him at a FTR ride day at Eastern Creek a few years back & found him to be a great bloke.

Can't we have 3 commentators?
IMO, Crompton, Diffey and Woods are the best commentators we have ever had, and Beattie does a great job in the pits. If only we could have Barry in the pits again, that would be awesome  Anyway, all we need to do is get rid of that Rust idiot and the whole telecast would be spot on. Paul Gover anybody?

The best part of the coverage we saw today was when the commentary box was stone silent, and we got to see Richo take the #11 car round the track, without interpretation from the 3 wise men...
 I did however enjoy Roberto Moreno's comments on ChampCar qualifying... he had similar views to Cromley, with the benefit of recent experience. Perhaps Roberto could replace James Allen, I mean he did drive in F1 all those moons agi |

Leigh Diffy is alot funny than that grinning yelling pretty boy Matthew White.
