Last time I saw NSX Concept-GT's spec, its kerb weight was 1020 kg before hybrid system, so is it actually 1048 kg instead of 1077 kg?

Iirc, the NSX was weight penalized to 1070kg or 1080kg because of being MR? But I think it got dropped to 1050kg. I assume that's including the hybrid.

If it's true that NSX Concept-GT is already at 1050kg for its kerb weight, hopefully more improvements at next year. |

Actual weight of the chassis is the top secret!

Meanwhile, the used R8 LMS Ultra seems still fresh to be raced for another series such as Super Taikyu, GT Asia etc (unless you're tempted for latest R8). |

Tetsuji Tamanaka (Team MACH, #5) is considering by which he should participate in SGT, 86MC or 488GT3.

If the team sticks with 86 MC it will be such a bet given the difficulty to overcome the car's problems. Ah, I saw a comment from Yasuaki Bob Suzuki (#7 Studie team director), he really want to see the actual car. |

In Japan, the automobile inspection procedure is very complex and expensive. MACH automated the procedure. |

Thanks for that Japanese Samurai. Sounds like good money to be made out of that annual exercise. Enough to buy a shiny new Ferrari perhaps? |

Masataka Bandoh (Team Bandoh, #19) says the rumour that success ballast system of GT500 might change into the actual ballast only (max 100kg).

@Japanese Samurai
So what about those teams who reached the maximum ballast of 100kg, will it have fuel-flow restriction as well? On the other hand, Honda sure don't want to tell its actual weight of their NSX GT500 car. |

It is the rumor that actual ballast is used instead of fuel flow restriction.
In short, it will return to the previous success ballast system. |

Looks like "49 kg" gave much worse effect than "51 kg" since straight lines at that circuit aren't quite long. So actually the #100 car were imposed the most real weight handicap (#12 was "only" imposed 1kg of real weight and smaller fuel restrictor which "only" reduced top speed and acceleration, which was not too significant on the technical circuit like Autopolis). |

With Caldarelli considering to move to GP2, certainly there is a hot seat left at #37 TOM'S for young drivers such as Yuichi Nakayama or Nick Cassidy. |

OFF-TOPIC:
Just wanna share something as Masahiko Kondou (owner of Kondo Racing) performed at this year's 66th Kohaku Uta Gassen with his hit single "Gingiragin ni Sarigenaku". While he can still sing even though he's busy managing his racing team, he and the rest of White Team lost over the Red Team this year. Don't know why, but it's all because of μ's! Now then, see ya next year... |

One quick question. The GT300 class is Pro-Am like the IMSA GTD or it can be Full pro?
Thanks in advance |

@Starfish Primer
From what I remember, some GT300 teams have Pro-Am line-up. However, there are a few like Team Gainer have an All-Pro line-up. |

Actually GT300 drivers come from various backgrounds (from former F1 test driver & GT500 driver Bjorn Wirdheim to Super Taikyu regular participants). Naturally this causes some multi-tier competition in GT300 itself. |
