Southern FF1600 Rounds 1 & 2
I wasn't at Lydden, but I feel like I was after reading Matt Beer's race report on www.clubff1600.co.uk which has just been posted. Wins, if you hadn't heard, for Jamie Smyth and Matt Wood, some great racing, and a dash of controversy.

It's just a shame there weren't a few more cars on the grid Ian. Weather was rotten and I have wet feet and need a nice warm bed now.

I wish this weather would make its mind up. I turned up at Silverstone this morning and it looked for all the world like it hadn't stopped raining since the F3 cancellation three weeks ago. But we've had gorgeous weather in between.
Agreed Stephen - we do need more cars down there. More will turn out for the races at Brands, especially as drivers seek to get Festival practice! Last edited by Ian Sowman; 8 May 2004 at 21:43. |
