I'm a Cleland fan and I've only been watching the BTCC since 1994, but 1995 would have to rate right up there.

Australians are widely in agreement that 1996 was the best year in Australian Super Touring.

I've always said that 1995 was the best BTCC ever, ahead of 1998 and 1992. Finally someone who agrees! Nice one, David!

I agree though, 1996 was brilliant. Weirdly, this video has appeared, watch it before it's almost certainly deleted.

I just don't remember much about 96, the big crash between Winkelhock and the Renaults aside.
