pimmy should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Petr Fulin is racing at Imola in the Italian series this weekend, presumably in preparation for the ETC Cup finale at the same circuit next weekend.

The Citroen C3 is now classified as a TCT car.

Damn. Alberto Viberti is fast. With his time he would get 3rd position in qualification in TCR International round in Imola.

He also beat J. Oriola's fastest lap record.

Colciago had gearbox problems. He could have won the title this weekend, but we have to wait until Monza. I think I will go watch.

Shame about Colciago. I am waiting to see him at Sepang.

Colciago won the title today despite another win by Viberti. Great season for him, now we'll see next week in Sepang.

Spain hasn't had a proper touring car championship since the Supertouring era.

In the 2000s the Spanish GT was healthy, not sure about TV coverage though.

A TCR championship would be great.

Spain already has TCR. It runs as a class within another series.

France & Japan are countries that I'd like to see adopt the regulations.

As has Portugal. The point is that together they'd actually have a decent grid.

Touring cars and France isn't a good combination.
When was the last time it really worked? Early to mid 90s?

The French are more into GT's and prototypes.

Well, yes. But even their national GT series is dead.

I'd like to see that happen here in Aus but it wouldn't be popular over here. Those small cars with small engines don't grab people's hearts over here. Look what happened to Super Tourers...

I know. Aussies want big (and noisy! ) engines, TCR is surely not the same.

I was thinking the same thing. It may be on the up TCR, but I could see the similarities in the Super Touring in that. So yeah don't think it will happen
