I'm going to try to get in contact with some of the drivers so I can ask them some questions from foreign fans. Below is the post I made in the subreddit but I will look for feedback from here because there are some avid fans here.

Kamui Kobayashi says at Kamui TV talk event, he will not race SuperGT this year. And Kamui will be joins SuperFormula.

Single seaters it is for Kobayashi. Shame he won't be in SGT, but if he still wants to get back into F1 this is the best way forward for him.

He isnt confirmed for SF. He says he tried Force India for a reserve role, but was rejected because he has lttle funding Quite sad. I hope Toyota pick him up.

From what I can tell upon looking at the render, the front end slightly resembles the Toyota GT86.

If the render is colored brighter other than black, I can see the details!

If Toyota picks someone with Kobyashi's resume, he's going to Le Mans in the TS040 Hybrid.

Sure that Toyota would pick Kobayashi-san in their Le Mans effort, but it'll be a one-season deal in my opinion as his heart remains in Formula One.

I dont think he will drive for Toyota this season. Maybe 2016 if he has no f1 seat? Its looking like Super Formula is the only thing he'll be involved in this year.

His situation is interesting, as it is tangentially related to the relative status of the various top-flight series. It seems obvious that he will do anything for F1, but he won't do that* so he's going to pick whatever he feels has the right combination of exposure and relevance to getting back into F1. Is that Super Formula because it is the second fastest single seater series, or is it WEC because of the growing fan/team/manufacturer interest?

It's a tough one for me - I like him as a driver so I want him to get back into F1 as he is yearning for, but I like him as a driver so I want to see him in LMP/SGT because I have no doubt he'd do well.

*No he won't do that
