"Internationalisation"

I'm aware that there are some different practises / equipment, etc. in different countries.

What I propose is that unless a country has SIGNIFICANT differences that need a whole page the following is done.

At the top of the page add the heading == General == and then have the description as normal, then at the bottom of the page add == Country == and then have the differences.

For example in overalls have at the bottom:

== Australia ==
GP Marshals generally wear white overalls rather than orange. These are available from [etc. etc. etc.]

If anyone has any other ideas then feel free to post here and suggest them.

Makes sense. Probably going to be tricky to overcome the Ireland/UK background (bias?) so we will have to be careful/considerate.

For circuits, perhaps we can assume the appropriate national background?

Regards

Thank you! This should work. And thank you for giving the international marshals an opportunity to contribute. Perhaps we can corrupt some of our colleagues into coming out to play in our backyards.

I don't think it will take much persuasion. Always tempted, but always thwarted by the bank manager. One day though, one day.....

Well Ireland had a good track record of sending marshals over for the last set of F1 races at Indy.

Interesting fact, there was one yellow flag during the 2005 F1 (Tyregate!), first lap, first corner. The flag marshal on that corner was Irish.

from what I saw only the Flaggies wore white... I wore orange as a "track" marshal... fire wore "red" as I'm sure they do elsewhere, medical wore "green" ... similar dress code was followed in Malaysia except medical wore "yellow" sparco suits.
