MotorsportMentalist should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Kiro reveal their livery, which will definitely be easy to pick out in a group of cars. No drivers confirmed but with the number 33 being used in the promotional images I think it’s fair to say Dan Ticktum will be retained for another season. I believe the Formula E website said that both Ticktum and Sette Camara were being considered for being kept so I would expect that he’ll be back as well.

Nice livery! Maybe they can partner with Monster?

As it turns out, Sette Camara might be on the chopping block. Multiple sources have reported this, but according to The Race; he’s still an option for the team, but wouldn’t be their first choice. Instead, the team seem to want A) David Beckmann, or B) A Porsche factory driver as a result of the new link up (namely, Porsche seem to want Thomas Preining to get the seat). Time will tell, and I doubt we’ll be waiting long to find out who the second driver is (being posted presuming Ticktum is staying).

Porsche with a new colourscheme too:

I like it, but I wonder why they chose purple, as black and red are quite commonly associated with the brand.

Following the use of that colourway on the flagship Taycan Turbo GT - the brand's most powerful production car to date.

I'd use warm colors, like the badge.

Another livery revealed, this time from Andretti:

Probably the livery with the least change so far, but still looks great.

Would imagine most of the grid reveal their colours this week as they’re testing in under a weeks time.

As a result of the recent flooding in Spain, there is a a large question mark about Formula E’s preseason test. Obviously, this isn’t the biggest concern surrounding the floods, but Formula E is currently looking into alternate methods of travel, as the roads to the Valencia circuit have been destroyed.

On a lighter note, Envision have taken the covers off of their car;

Not much change from last year’s livery, but it looks fine.

Kiro are reported to be considering signing Andre Lotterer to race for them this season:
https://www.motorsportweek.com/2024/...ormula-e-seat/
Considering the previous reports of Kiro wanting a Porsche works driver and Lotterer not being retained for the WEC, as well as having experience in Formula E, this claim isn't exactly unbelievable.

Meanwhile, McLaren have unveiled their new livery:

More black than years prior, but not too different, I like the way they've implemented the orange onto the front of the car.

Pre-season testing will now take place at the Jarama circuit as a result of the flooding. Testing has also been moved back by a day, now taking place across November 5th-8th.

I don't like black cars, so I really like the orange front wind and sidepods.

MotorsportMentalist should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Here’s a summary of what has happened since the start of November:
Mitch Evans set the fastest time during the test at Jarama, with Abbi Pulling being the fastest during the woman’s session. For comparison, I seem to recall reading that her time was about three seconds off of Evans’ time.

I believe the attack charge concept was utilised by a few teams during the race simulation on the penultimate day, though it seems like there is some confusion on how it will be implemented. Some believe that it’s being used for a single race in the year, with others interpreting what has been said as the attack charge being used for one race per double header.

The ExCel centre received a reprieve to host the race for 2026. However, it would still seem that Formula E is skeptical about racing there after this extension, believing that the Gen 4 would be too quick for the current iteration of the circuit.

Lastly, the version of the Jeddah circuit that Formula E will race on has been revealed:

As many suspected, it’s a modified version of the layout that the WTCR ran at the end of 2022, most notably featuring a chicane on the start finish line.

That’s all that I can think of that was confirmed since the end of October, though there are still things to be sorted before the season starts. Kiro still haven’t confirmed who will be driving for them (though I imagine it is safe to presume that Ticktum and Beckmann will stay after driving for them at the Jarama test) and the rumblings of Formula E returning to a free-to-air UK channel (which would be highly preferred to having to pay £35 a month).

A little birdie told me that the viewing figures in the UK were under 500 per race since moving to pay per view.

Free-to-air UK Formula E coverage will return to ITV for the upcoming season. All of the qualifying sessions and E-Prix will be shown on live ITVX (ITV’s streaming platform) with nine E-Prix also being shown live on ITV4, though London won’t be one of them surprisingly. I know this could very well be another one year deal and only changes things for fans living here in the UK, but this definitely feels like an alls well ends well situation.

Also, Ticktum and Beckmann have been officially confirmed as Kiro’s full season drivers. Not exactly surprising, but it wasn’t fully confirmed until recently.
