monkeynuts should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I have a few pictures of the Thomas /Spice Green SD1 at the Silverstone TT
My job was passing the fuel churns and as usual when quiet took pictures at the pit stops

I'm surprised you haven't had an answer yet Mike. From memory the early Group A cars had 15" wheels but by 1986 they had 16 or even 17"?

Mike, I dont know where you're living but if its not too far from Yorkshire, a nice region to visit, Wetherby LS22 4 DN, it could be worth for you to pay a visit to speedmastercars. Close to your computer screen, I found this for you:

Yes, James, merchants if you would prefer or Dagenham Daves may be? Nothing wrong with that I presume. Historic racing is meant for ultra rich people who can't afford a new car, thats why they go for second hand ones!

I can't wait next Mike's question because I suspect it will be about certain papers to obtain if you see what I mean.
