Who would switch to Mitsubishi ?

The current Russel Ingall rumour thread made me think of this.

If Mitsubishi came into V8 Supercar which drivers or teams do you think would defect to this make ?

The only sort of rumour I have heard is that Warren Luff might driver for Mitsubishi.

Anyone ?

Cheers, Buck.

If you were into conspiracy theories:

Luff to Mitsubishi, but he is also driving with McConville in the enduros... has Holden done anything for Lansvle lately?

Buggered if I know... probably not a leading team, although Gibson would never run Fords, or would he...

Has he secured the drive for Lansvale ? I heard he was testing but didn't know if he'd gotten or not.

Would be great to see Luff and McConville drive together - both seem to be very talented down to earth guys that just need some good equipment thrown at them.

Luff has more links to Mitsu than either Lansvale or Holden.

Luff and McConville togethor would be a strong pair if the car can match them. I've been waiting for Luff to get into the"big" time and see what he's made of.

The drive with Lansvale is just for the Enduros.

Buckshot I hope your info is correct as it would be great for a talent like Luff but last news I got from the team was that they were still waiting to test someone else. Cam is the goods and Wally Storey is a master!

Getting back to the topic, I reckon some one like Brad Jones Racing would be a good chance to pick up Mitsi

I think that Mitsubishi should find their own drivers!

Not take drivers from us!

You guys, you make me laugh with all your comments. May I tell you all that you are so off the mark with all these comments on Mitsubishi, I can assure you that you are no where near knowing who is behind this, who will be the driver or when this is going to happen, but rest assured I know every detail and you will all find out in due course BE PATIENT!!

My bet is Paragon Motorsport (Cameron McLean) as one of their senior guys that has returned this season has substantial links with the big M ;-) but a dark horse could be JFR

Do we have any idea how many cars Mitsubishi will have, 2,4,6???

there is loads of talent that could be picked from V8Lites

how about: Dale Brede, Paul Dumbrell, Leanne Ferrier?
