Hey GTR, have to say I am disappointed with your negative attitude to TCR.

As you well know I have owned and raced all kinds of cars, over my adult lifetime including starting and running the New Zealand V8 Supertourer category here in NZ. During all theses many years I have never had a bias against any form of motor racing, even though I am a life long fan of V8 engined race cars.

However, the cost of Australian V8 supercars is totally and utterly out of control, so its days are numbered, plus none of the current crop of cars have any resemblance to what you can buy including their engines.

TCR racing is not only affordable by comparison but is also relevant to manufactures and dealers alike because its production based racing. The body shell is from a real car, as is the stock factory engine.

Yes, they have got boxy flared guards to cover their wide track's, and a small rear wing to help with trimming the areo balance but they have more DNA than just about any other category of motor racing I can think of.

It would be nice if you stopped trying to '**** on the fire' as it leaves a bad smell!

Cheers,

Mark.

Ding, ding, ding!

Sounds like we might all need to have a break before we commence Round 2

Just point where I can buy street version of Falcon based Mustang and RWD V8 Commodore or RWD V8 Altima and I will import them to Serbia ASAP...

What about the live coverage of this championship? Live streaming or something else?

I think there might have heard something FTA TV coverage? Obviously live streaming would be good to go, as it can help give a new series exposure

Interesting how the teams are allowed to test at a track on the calendar. Most TCR championships don't allow this.

But GTRMagic knows better - he told Brad Jones so well many years ago - he is only biased because he cant fit in a TCR car

Sadly, they haven't been anywhere since, really.

Your personal attack is a sad indictment of, perhaps, your own imperfections and there is no real need for it on this forum.

Opinions differ, and like butt holes, everyone has one. Please ensure that yours doesn't consume your entire being as that would be a sad waste of human potential

Rullo's car looks decent.

Complete with market-correct badging.

Well well the Lion does appear!

Castrol livery looks good however it’s gonna be confusing for me cause all I can think of are the Castrol Hondas that raced in WTCC

If you were a bodykit manufacturer in this country, you could do worse than start investigating the feasibility of making kits for similar looking roadgoing versions.

The first real piece of bad news today for the series, Garth Walden only running one of the two Hyundais he has for Michael Almond, parking the other one for round 1 at least.

Just one seat left to fill, the VeeDub from MPC.

He has a good dad. I'm still hoping for a TCR world cup at Bathurst, this bloke could be the key.

Cool

Timings not good for the Europeans, but I guess I can re-watch it when I want.
