It seems I'd got the wrong idea about the Powertour TV coverage, I thought it was going to be of F3, NSC and GTs, but in actual fact what we've just seen was coverage of the F3, which was okay, but are we going to see any C4 coverage of the GTs and NSC?

Yes, I also found it mighty strange that there was no GT or NSC coverage on a program called 'F3 on 4'... duh!

Actually, I think the rest of the show is being covered by C5, as well as a middle of the night show on ITV.

Okay, okay, I was meaning that in all the preseason talk it had appeared C4 would be showing all 3 series - I think the title of the F3 programme is obvious enough
I don't remember there being any mention of C5 showing the Powertour this year, anyone got any ideas when? Actually that's better, I can get a perfect picture on C5 but C4 has a tendency to be B&W which is a bit annoying, made worse by the fact that it buzzes when it rains

You leave Eurosport alone! They rock!

I hate to think of the mess Sky is gonna make of the Tuscan coverage. Interminable cuts back to the studio for (sigh) analysis probably. And [ahem] 'racing experts' talking twoddle.

I thought the GT was on a prog called "GT on Four". I saw a news story somewhere about it. Might have been on Pistonheads.com

Maybe.

Just to bring the topic of conversation back to its rightful place (TVRs) , I've just seen a thing on the Autosport news email thingy that Brundle is gonna test the Cerbie GT. How cool. Not racing it though

That'll be that thing on at 3am on ITV which I mentioned ?

Eurosport ? Don't make me laugh - they don't even know themselves what they're showing these days, let alone getting the info over to us

Probably. usually on about 3:45am, which is STOOPID. We've got tapes and tapes of it back to about 1994 - unless Andy has taped over them with s****y F1.

I'd rather have Euro than not. It's free after all. And Martin Haven is a Mini fan! And owns a Se7en racer.
