2019 IndyCar Series schedule
The Formula E announced that the 2019 Mexico ePrix will be held on February 16.
So IndyCar could race there in late March, right?

If you're footing the bill but I think management has said there was no promoter who wanted to work with them on it. And I think there wasn't much interest from the teams in going to Mexico when previously broached. I think everyone thinks it should work but no one wants to risk that money on it when they already have a couple duds on the schedule to make up for, we're all looking at you PIR (or whatever you are this week)

Let's give Portland the benefit of the doubt until it runs... then call it a dud if it is one...

I can't wait for Portland. Even if the racing is lack luster, the track is just too cool.

I haven't been following racing long enough to remember it from "the old days" but I'm pretty excited. Lots of momentum from the Green Savoree folks, and a certain Mr. Bourdais mentioned to me a couple of years ago that he thought the Pacific Northwest was a big untapped market for IndyCar... let's hope he was right!

Oh no! I'm one of the old guys now!
The couple of times I've visited Oregon, and I even had a conversation with somebody from Oregon 30 minutes ago about it, is that the place is full of hipsters and rednecks and redneck-hipsters. Myself and most Motor Racing should fit right in, for the most part.

As long as the guy who dresses like Darth Vader in a kilt, and rides around on a unicycle playing flaming bagpipes shows up, it'll all be good.

IndyCar won't return to Phoenix in 2019 — the race simply didn’t attract enough fans over the past three years. Story per Racer here.

If Alonso comes full time to IndyCar next year, could can it be possible for IndyCar to visit Spain for some (Barcelona or Jerez) track race event ?

Unlikely, unless Alonso is going to pay for it.

That's a shame.
