Pistonbroke should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Thanks to Midland Hills

Many thanks to the Midland Hills for treating the marshals who signed up for the Marshals' Championship to an excellent lunch and significant prizes last weekend. The fact that spouses are also invited is particularly welcome - it would be impossible for me to do the number of days I do without my wife's endless patience and support, and I suspect many will feel the same (about their own parthers that is!).

The rewards are not why I turn out so much on the hills but it's certainly good to feel appreciated.

It's been said before in other threads, but if you want a great day's sport in attractive surroundings and to be treated well, come to Loton Park, Shelsley Walsh, or Prescott in 2006!

I couldn't have put it much better. An excellent do, and appropriate thanks to all those who organised and paid for it. Very much appreciated.

I found it quite rewarding.

But seriously the only cost of a good afternoon was to sign up for the championship.

The cost to sign up was nothing. so come one come all and enjoy a great day out on the midland hills and have a free nosh up at the end of the year.

I am however getting some earache about the presence of a McLaren airbox (raffle prize) in our living room! Now perhaps if I supercharged the Midget.....................

Another tankard to go in the cabinet as well...

And if anyone reading this is a new marshal or just new to the midland hills then drop me a pm and I'll make sure you get signed up with the minimum fuss......
