I really wish the two Fuji rounds were on different layouts.

Exact same venues and races in the exact same order as it was set in 2016 before a bad thing happened in Kumamoto.
The May 4/Golden Week classic, the Fuji 500km, is held on a Thursday this year. To paraphrase 50's singer Lloyd Price, "Super GT's got...con-ti-nu-i-ty!" |

Nah. Just run one as current and the other without the chicane at the end of the back "straight."

and I really wish we had only 1 event at Fuji(actually I would scratch Fuji from the calendar as I hate the layout but I know that possibility is completely unreal, given the tradition and fame of the track). I would replace the other with Sepang which shouldn't have left the calendar
Actually, what I most wish for SGT is that it's calendar had some 4 extra races. Too few events spread out throught the year..... |

Most Super GT drivers are already double-enrolled in Super Formula, All-Japan F3, Super Taikyu, and they might want to go race at Le Mans sometime. 8-9 races is totally fine.

Maybe the first priority is to make Super GT, Super Formula & Super Taikyu and other local races don't clash each other and then adjusting it to 24 Hours of Le Mans schedule, therefore the long gap between 3rd and 4th race |

I found the articles is related to FIA-GT3 car for Fuji round. 第2戦と比較して軽減となっているのは、アウディR8 LMS(BoP=5kg減)、ランボルギーニ・ウラカンGT3(BoP=5kg減)、ポルシェ911 GT3 R(BoP=15kg減)。 But I can't understand that article without the BOP table. Japanese Samurai(sorry I m not urging you, Just share the thought with us) Can you please translate and explain the article as shown above there with bold text or the below the website there http://www.as-web.jp/supergt/34509/2 |

I'm hearing talk that Honda will be back in GT300 next year.
NSX GT3 Hybrid?(using the same system 'Zytec' from the CR-Z GT300) |

I'd be really surprised if they didn't race the RC F in GT3 next year, but it would be silly to homologate it only for a single year. I guess we'll find out by the BoP tests next month, but clearly they're not aiming for customers for next year with all their secrecy. Edit: http://www.carscoops.com/2016/07/lex...ng-in.html?m=1 found it here, meh, looks ugly compared to the refined RC F to me, hope I get to see the current car race at least once. |

The LC (GT)500 will be the worst-kept secret in the series for the next month or so, but my goodness, that LC-F looks utterly bonkers.

The Lexus LC-F will make the RC-F obsolete if that car raced in both GT500 and in GT3.
On the other hand, the LC-F has some subtle elements from the LFA. |

Not the first time that Red Bull has at least been rumoured to sponsor a team in a major championship in Japan - word went around in 2008 that RB wanted to start up a Formula Nippon team, but it came to nothing.
Any team that lands Red Bull as a sponsor, man, that would be HUGE. |
