Based on that costing, a V8Ute will be worth the better part of $90k by the time it hits the track?

To be fair, does anyone care about lap times for a Ute? It's the fact that they run in big bunches and view the racing line as a rough guide that makes them so much fun.

Yes, as long as the racing is close and they still sound good no one really cares........organisers probably would have safety in mind and would prefer not to have engine power increase too far.

It seems my assumption of slower lap times is most likely wrong.........commentary team said an FG Falcon set a new lap record at Adelaide. They said the FG seemed to handle the kerbs better..........or is the coyote engine simply more efficient?
