Race 17 - Scratch Race - nothing from this one I'm afraid. I did take some photos but nothing worthwhile before it was red-flagged and I didn't stay for the re-start.

I must find a better way organise the workflow....
Cheers Grant.

The wind was certainly hard work but the dust didn't seem to be as bad as the Historic meeting a few weeks ago - presumably due to the recent showers?

I wondered if you were there - I kept an eye open for you now that I know what you look like based on your recent Pau / Delta group photo! Maybe next time.

Hi Gary,
Is this the meeting that James Beckett was running the pre '90 FF1600s?
If it was do you have any photo's from that race?

Gary
It would have been great to meet up. I had considered popping along on Sunday afternoon anyway but younger daughter was home for the weekend (and actually in the house!) and the planned family Skype call to the elder daughter in Oz started a little late and ended around 1pm ish and then there was brunch to prep and ... I looked at my watch and it indicated 3pm and I decided it might be a bit late.

Where is next on your list?

I think that was the Masters meeting at Oulton Park in March - there is a 10-Tenths thread on it. Although I was there that day and posted some pictures I seem to recall that I missed the FF race - got talking to someone! I don't know if they've run it elsewhere yet?

Not sure where I'll be next Grant. I've got a few time-keeping commitments coming up at my local circuit (Croft) which conflicts with opportunities to get to some historic meetings further south. Also working at the Croft HSCC meeting in August. Might go to the VSCC Hillclimb at Harewood in a couple of weeks, the Gold Cup and possibly the Masters at Donington in September. Also keep toying with the thought of attending one of the European events but juggling dates at the moment!
