Jordan + Benson & Hedges - parted?
Has anyone raised this issue regarding Jordan?
Why were their cars running without B+H sponsors at Sepang? They were running with an alternative sponsor -Sobranie?! |

Sobranie is the brand that B&H market under in Asia. The Jordan of Ralph Firman ran in that livery during his demo run at the Macau F3 Grand Prix last year.

Sobranie and B+H are under the company Gallagher and had plans to run different branding dependant on which part of the world they are in since last year.

Working for an "official patner" of Jordan GP according to their stationary, the cars carry the livery of....
B&H/Sobranie, Bridgestone, Trust, Phard, TB, Remax, Ford/Cosworth Vodka V10 |

There have been rumors of the team announcing new sponsers in Bahrain also. There was a quote from eddie jordan in the telegraph saying he is announcing two new sponsers soon.
http://portal.telegraph.co.uk/sport/...2Fsmform21.xml "We went for the young drivers and targeted the year as the fight back. Yes, we went through hell at the end of 2003. A lot of people didn't think we would be here but we are. We are strong and commercially we are stronger than we have ever been, with a couple of really outstanding sponsorships soon to be announced. |

Seriously, it has crossed my mind as to what Jordan are going to do after the Bahrain GP, after all, seems pointless running with 04.04.04 livery after the actual event! |

The 04.04.04 is sponsorship frm the Bahrain royal family - in Australia the car had 'peace' on it, and in Malaysia it had 'harmony' on it. Promoting the values of the Bahrain royal family. (or so I was lead to believe )
