Knockhill, July 21/22

KayBee & I have decided that our first ever visit to Knockhill can't be postponed any longer, so we're intending to do the Classic Speedfair on July 21/22.

Who do we need to contact to volunteer for this?

Quick down to Carlisle and build the wall higher, sounds like an english invasion coming!! Only joking, you will be made most welcome at Jockhill.
This looks as though it will be an excellent meeting. As far as we know it is a full historic weekend, not split 50/50 with modern day SMRC races like last year.

More info is on the Knockhill website - http://www.knockhill.com/events/speedfair.php

Lynn is the correct person, but she is not always in the country so you may get a slight delay in her returning your email.

Regards
Paul

As they say at Knockhill - if you cant see the top of the hill it is raining, if you can it is just about to start. Make sure you bring suncream - you either get sunburnt or windburnt!!!!!.

Hey Roy, at least we dont get freak electrical storms a la 2005 24hr at Silverstone causing us all to fear for our lives and hide in gravel traps at 9pm on a Friday night!!! The flying haggis is still traumatised by it.

What a great weekend that was!

Some superb racing, enjoyed from what must be the best post on the circuit, McIntyres. Three Formula Fords in the gravel trap.....no change there, then.

I never knew there was a hand signal for 'I'm putting my gloves on'......nice one, Gillian!

Thanks to everybody at Knockhill for making our first visit so enjoyable - the bad news is, we'll be back!

Hi All

Just wanted to say thanks to all the orange suits... It was the first time i have raced at Knockhill... Luckily it dried out for my race.. I was little red Alfa in the Tintops that spun off a couple of times to keep you on your toes!!

Many thanks again - where would we be without you lads & lassys...

Cheers
