RBS dont you think the car pic 5 in # 821 looks like a Tank Bugatti ? Its not the answer, unfortunately.

Not really but I do not believe the HWM Alta was the prettiest car built.

I’m with you on both points! IMO the ‘Tank’ Bugatti was only ever matched by Cunningham’s Le Monstre......

I can't do it in English, sorry, but this is a "litote"… Understatement may be. I had some pictures taken at Montlhéry showing my Dad and friends around a Bugatti Tank. C'était la mode, mes amis, c'était la mode!

Talking about Bugattis, did you ever see La Cage, design due to de Vizcaya? Based on a 37 if I remember well. Full nickname was "la cage Ã* mouches" referring to the thing you put on a plate of cheese…*Sure E.B will find something about!

Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo. Prefer the Huracan but still a mega looking car.

You mean there's a contest inside SOF Club to who who's the next to be banned?
Because Bauble showed many Bugattis, try to fond pictures of Type 18 Rolland Garros, Type 30 Strasbourg GP, not mentioning Gangloff, Figoni & Falaschi or Saoutchik extravaganza.

Mike, RBS, E.B sent you a message, kind of rebus. He says "de-rail" and this is related to Bugatti.

Sticking my nose into this one. Has that got something to do with the Bugatti engines that were used in Railway Engines (based on the one used in the Bugatti Royale if I remember correctly?)

It is off topic, but justified under the heading of ‘education’

The Bugatti Railcar- talk about ahead of it’s time......

Sorry EB no messages in my box. Did see something about this when I visited the Railway Museum at Mulhouse some years back.

Now what about the futuristic Bugatti plane with butterfly tail & contra-rotating props.

The 100P? https://gizmodo.com/the-500-mph-supe...-th-1535579524

Sadly a replica built a few years ago crashed during a test flight and the American builder died as a result.

not mentioning Gangloff, Figoni & Falaschi or Saoutchik extravaganza. I prefered the more ordinary cars from Gaber.

The 100P? That is the plane.

Bunch of knowalls, blathering on about obscure subjects, and straying far from the point of the thread, complete show-offs the lot of them.

Now let us get back to the reason for launching this thread, so that I can display my magnificent, collection of supreme examples of the photographers art.

Well … at least..... maybe not F1

Good job we don’t. Anyway, you’re showing your age suggesting a two finger emoji- it would be one finger nowadays....

‘Figoni and Falaschi’- Can’t remember who it was who changed it to ‘Phoney and Flashy’.....

What a gang of Sherlocks we have here, Viva started the good answer with Bugatti engines on rails. I guess Andy could help to name the kind of boat used when an Amiral goes from a destroyer to earth for instance. See what I mean? Many of those had Bugatti engines in it.

Guess what, E.B found good info about La Cage. You all are impossible to surprise, I'm gutted!!!

OK, OK, back to two fingers Bob pictures !

There's very few Lancias I can think of that aren’t good lookers- up to the very modern Fiat based creations, that is! Even the box that is the Delta Integrale just works..... (all my opinion, of course!)
